Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent;
• Level 2 (Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
• Computer application knowledge; Possession of knowledge and working experience in the operation of training venue, audio visual systems and multimedia equipment and environmental field will be an advantage;
• At least three year's post-degree full-time working experience in administrative and management work;
• At least two year's working experience related to the organization of environmental projects or other projects on subjects of public concern, events and expositions;
• Have good personality and inter-personal communication skills, self- motivation and ability to work independently;
• Experience in the reception of senior officials from overseas and the Chinese Mainland is preferred; and
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
Responsibilities:
• To assist in coordination, organisation, management and implementation of environmental projects, conferences, symposiums and events, including but not limited to the Eco Expo Asia, EPD Volunteer Team, cross-boundary and Chinese Mainland collaboration projects;
• To assist in preparation and signing of memorandum of understandings, cooperation arrangements or collaboration agreements with other jurisdictions, environmental authorities or institutions;
• To assist in the coordination of cross-division departmental returns on government-wide initiatives such as APEC projects, BUD Fund, World Bank B- ready questionnaires, ProPECC and anti-rodent work;
• To assist in the setting up and operation of the Belt and Road Sustainable Green Development Training Centre and the Global Sanitation Graduate School East Asia Regional Hub;
• To provide support on the planning, coordination, and execution of various environmental training initiatives, such as seminars, training courses, symposiums, and technical conferences;
• To provide support in a wide range of executive functions including division administration, general administration support, and policy support, scheme administration, regulatory functions, event management, and environmental project planning and development.
• To provide general office support, including photocopying, scanning, filing, word processing, receiving and distribution of documents, compilation of returns, data analysis, etc.; and
• To perform any other duties (including outdoor duties and "restriction-testing declaration operations") assigned by officers of the EPD.
