Qualifications:
• A permanent resident of Hong Kong and lawfully employable in Hong Kong;
• Secondary 4 standard or equivalent or above;
• Speak fluent Cantonese and simple English;
• Working experience especially in music industry or customer service field and experience working in Government departments preferred;
• Be responsible, polite and mature, with good communication & interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
• To assist in the daily operation of the music centre, such as opening and locking classrooms / rehearsal rooms during training sessions, orchestra rehearsals, and music activities, and tidying up classrooms/ rehearsal rooms after use, including tables/chairs, music stands, and equipment;
• To assist crowd control in the waiting area between lessons and maintain proper order for parents/ accompanying persons in picking up trainees between classes;
• To be responsible for relocating all Chinese, Wind, and String instruments in the music centres, especially for providing general instrument/equipment transportation support during band/choir/orchestra training and performances in weekends/public holidays;
• To assist in administrating the music centre room booking system and checking musical instrument borrow and return records;
• To be on duty in irregular hours for transporting musical instruments in and out during various concerts and other activities organized by the Music Office;
• Supervision of service contract providers;
• Enforcement of venue regulations and general management support; and
• To carry out any other duties assigned by senior officers, such as recording public enquiries at the inquiry counter.
