Programme Officer(LCSD 康文署)
Requirements:
- Be a permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and lawfully employable in Hong Kong
- Be a Holder of Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Advertising / Communication / Cultural Studies or related fields or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (have met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 5' or above in Chinese Language and English Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade 'C' or above in Chinese Language and Culture or Chinese Language and Literature and Use of English of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE), or equivalent)
- Have at least three (3) years’ full-time post-qualification working experience in arts/cultural festival programming, marketing, or event coordination prior to Quotation Closing Date (Familiarity with Hong Kong cultural sector, LCSD operations, or government cultural policies is an advantage)
- Demonstrate experience managing multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and design/digital tools (Adobe Creative Suite familiarity a plus)
- Be able to liaise and coordinate effectively with internal government teams, external creative agencies, and performing artists
- Be familiar with Hong Kong cultural sector, LCSD operations, or government cultural policies is a plus
- Be strong attention to detail and project management capability
Responsibilities:
- To develop and coordinate the production of the festival brochure, including liaising with programme contributors, designers, and production service providers, compiling programme information and visual assets, overseeing the design approval workflow, and managing distribution to venues and partners
- To assist in developing and coordinating the festival promotional video/trailer, including compiling programme highlights and performance content, liaising with video production service providers on creative direction and timeline, managing the stakeholder approval process, and supporting the digital platform distribution strategy
- To prepare and coordinate festival exhibition and visual display materials, including gathering exhibition content, liaising with designers and installation teams, and preparing exhibition briefs and descriptive materials
- To assist in planning and executing the media launch event, including preparing media invitations, press kits and promotional materials, coordinating event logistics, drafting briefing notes, and liaising with the Communications team on media outreach
- To assist in planning and coordination of the opening ceremony, including gathering programme details and production requirements, preparing the rundown and logistical checklists, assisting with protocol and guest arrangements, coordinating with technical teams on AV and staging requirements, and supporting overall event execution
- To maintain liaison and communication with internal departments, external artists, production partners, and sponsors to ensure timely information flow and coordination
- To perform any other duties assigned by senior officers
