Qualifications:
- A permanent resident of HKSAR;
- A degree holder;
- Have not less than five (5) years' full-time post-qualification working experience in the field of performance and arts administration/ cultural organisations/event or venue management;
- Have good understanding on performing arts and administration work;
- Have not less than two (2) years working experience in staff supervision;
- Possess good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills: and
- Possess sound knowledge of Photo Editing Software (Le. Photoshop), Magiclafo Express, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
Responsibilities:
1) To examine and process applications for booking and concessionary rates, waiver of hire charges of the Performance Venues Office (New Territories East) including those of Sha Tin Town Hall (STTH).
2) To handle the booking applications according to the weekly and monthly cycles and following-up on the logistics such as to issue confirmation letters to the successful applicants and reject letters to the unsuccessful applicants.
3) To compile data for regular and ad hoc statistical returns.
4) To supervise clerical staff of STTH booking team.
5) To act as duty manager in Sha Tin Town Hall, North District Town Hall and Tai Po Civic Centre, and ensure smooth running of all functions held in these venues and make sure the Terms & Conditions of hire are properly observed.
6) To attend emergency duties when required and to perform any other duties as assigned by senior officer.
