要求:
- 學士學位(主修人類學、中國歷史、文化研究、人文學科、歷史、博物館學、文學或同等學科)
- HKDSE/ALE:中英文 Lv 5/ C 或 綜合招聘考試 (CRE): 中英文Lv 2
- 兩年全職工作經驗;一年公共博物館 / 文化 / 學術機構擁有工作經驗
- 優先考慮具備協助展覽研究、規劃、製作和管理的經驗;能夠用中英文撰寫、校對和編輯文本(例如博物館捐贈/收購提案、物件記錄、展覽文本和標籤)
- 優先考慮具備對博物館項目相關主題進行學術研究的能力,並具有在歷史項目/主題上進行研究的經驗
職責:
- 協助研究和準備博物館的特別展覽、教育活動、出版物等
- 進行收集的文物和展品的照片記錄、測量,並將其信息輸入博物館的登記/庫存系統或博物館代表指示的其他數據庫格式
- 協助準備、編輯和校對中文和英文文本,例如目錄、小冊子、面板、標題等,以用於任何博物館展覽、活動和出版物
- 編制和登記博物館的文物和展品
- 在博物館提供導賞服務
- 協助博物館的日常運作,包括接待訪客,並在必要時提供使用設施和服務的指導
- 必要時,執行博物館的相關規定
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (major in Anthropology, Chinese History, Cultural Studies, Humanity, History, Museum Studies, Literature or equivalent)
- CRE: Chinese & English Lv 2 OR HKDSE/ALE: Chinese and English Lv 5/C
- 2 years full-time working experience; 1 year working experience in public museum, cultural or academic institute
- Preferably with experiences in helping with exhibition research, planning, production and management; writing, proofreading and editing texts in Chinese and English, (e.g. museum donation / acquisition proposals, object records, exhibition texts and labels)
- Competence in conducting academic research on topics pertaining to museum programmes and proven experience in conducting research on history projects / topics are preferred
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the research and preparation of the special exhibitions, education activities, publications, etc.
- To conduct photo/video recording, measurement of the collected artefacts and exhibits and input their information into the registration/inventory system of the Museum, or other database format
- To assist in preparing, editing and proofreading of text in Chinese and English such as catalogue, booklet, panel, caption etc. for any museum exhibitions, activities and publications
- To compile and register artefacts and exhibits
- To conduct guided tour services
- To assist in the daily operation, including receiving visitors and providing them with guidance and assistance in using facilities and services, if necessary
- To enforce museum regulations, if necessary.
