Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club ("the Club") is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Department
The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.
The Job
You will:
- responsible for supporting live coverage of horse racing in Hong Kong and the production of related promotional video and documentaries for on-air at TV stations as well as display on the giant display screens and closed-circuit TV network at the racecourses
- perform pre-Raceday operational checks and testing with relevant business users, and handle fault call reports from the Property Call Cantre to ensure smooth race operations.
- set-up AV system to support various Club's functions
- provide support for internal users on everyday operations
- attend both Raceday (Wed / Sat / Sunday / Public Holiday – 09:00 am to 11:30pm) and non-Raceday duty ( 09:00am – 17:30pm )
About You
You should have:
- Diploma in Multimedia/Electronic/Computer Engineering or other relevant media discipline
- a minimum of 1 year relevant experience in camera and photography would be a distinct advantage
- experience in TV station would be a distinct advantage
- good communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese and English
