Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Security, Integrity and Information Security (SIIS) Division is responsible for the Club’s integrity by combatting criminality, corruption, and information security risks, including cyber security that may impact business. Through robust governance and proactive security measures, SIIS is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment and upholding uncompromising integrity across Club operations.
Job duties
• To ensure the racing security & integrity by performing stable patrols, horse escort and special watch duties at stables or racecourses;
• Carry out Anti-Doping sampling duties (e.g. horse/human sampling);
• Ensure the procedures in relation to a sample collection are taken in accordance with the SOP’s of Anti-Doping Team;
• Ensure the chain of evidence of sampling, included but not limited to the witness of sampling process;
• Ensure accurate record of doping control document;
• Be required to perform any other duties related to doping control as assigned by the Manager, Doping Control or his delegate;
• Be required to wear uniform while on duty.
Requirements
• Five passes in HKCEE/HKDSE with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the security field or disciplinary services;
• Security Personnel Permit is preferred;
• With a sensitivity to sports ethics;
• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese;
• Initiative and willing to work on shift duties including holidays;
• Experience in handling different types of security incidents or investigation is highly preferred.

HK$103 per hour

Wed Night meeting and Sat/Sun/PH Day meeting / Twilight meeting
* Average 5-9 working hours per day and 2 working days per week. Actual roster depends on racing calendar and schedule.
