Part time Customer Relations Assistant (GAR)

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.


The Division
The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.

The Job
• Assist customer purchases and inquiries, offering suggestions about product features and benefits, assist customers with any digital services & process transactions.

• Participate in promotional activities and events at the Racecourse, helping to drive sales and engage with customers.

• Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked, ensuring that displays are attractive and the merchandise is easily accessible.

• Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers.


About You
• Form 5 or above with relevant experience in customer service or retail industry is preferable

• Energetic, outgoing and with good customer services

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Knowledge of race-themed merchandise and souvenirs is a plus.


Working Location:
Shatin Racecourse (STRC) & Happy Valley Racecourse (HVRC) or Gift@Races+ (Gift Store) #

#Actual working location is subject to operational needs.


Working Shift:
09:00 – 18:30 (Day Race), 15:30 – 23:30 (Night Race) & 13:00 – 21:00 (Summer Series Race)*

Pay Rate:
HK$96.5 per hour
