Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end credit evaluations for global trading counterparties and exercise direct approval authority for corporate credit limits.
- Formulate sophisticated risk mitigation strategies, leverage proactive market intelligence, and swiftly deactivate high-risk accounts.
- Serve as the final escalation point for complex credit situations and provide strategic guidance to the regional analyst team.
- Architect and deploy advanced risk reporting frameworks, predictive analytical tools, and customized credit infrastructure from scratch.
- Drive macro portfolio stress-testing, deep-dive sector reviews, and executive-level risk presentations for senior management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of heavyweight credit risk assessment and portfolio management experience within commodity trading, marine fuels, or corporate banking.
- Expert financial analysis capabilities with a proven track record of handling complex multi-million dollar counterparty exposures.
- Professional fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is highly valued for regional client management.
- Deep, specialized knowledge of the marine bunker, maritime shipping, or global oil and gas markets is strongly preferred.
- Decisive problem-solving acumen, cross-border leadership agility, and the stamina to thrive across multiple global time zones.
