Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Leadership & Strategy: Define, implement, and maintain the company's BIM standards, execution plans (BEP), and workflows for high-end fit-out and building construction projects.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and resource-manage a team of BIM Modeler/Draftsmen, ensuring models are delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Design Coordination & Clash Detection: Oversee multi-disciplinary coordination (Architectural, Structural, and MEP) using BIM software. Lead clash detection workshops, resolve design conflicts, and propose technical layout solutions.
- Project Lifecycle Integration: Drive the usage of BIM data from early-stage conceptual design and spatial planning through to fabrication, construction logistics, and final T&C/as-built handovers.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for BIM matters with clients, lead consultants, main contractors, and statutory bodies.
Requirements:
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional BIM Certification (e.g., HKIBIM, CCBM, or equivalent professional body) is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 6–8 years of solid experience in BIM execution within the Hong Kong building or interior fit-out industry, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leading capacity.
- Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with Dynamo, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or OpenBIM workflows is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of local Hong Kong statutory building regulations, A&A procedures, and construction detailing/sequences.
- Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
