Duties:
(a) To assist in processing the booking application including information vetting, prepare rental subsidy application approval minutes and drafting relevant booking papers and corresponding approval minutes for use of facilities of the Centre
(b) To handle the ticketing matters from hirers including vetting the Event set-up form and publicity.
(c) To answer booking enquiry from the public, including drafting email reply and phone answering.
(d)To compile all the booking and site visit enquiries/requests from different parties for initiation to hirers and public briefing, conduct venue site visits for hirers, and assist for the planning and bookmarking of booking schedule further
(e) To assist the Hiring and Operation Team in operating the online application system (e-APS) and electronic booking application processing system (CCMS) for information validation, data input and cross-checking with the true-copies of applications.
(f) To assist in updating and maintaining the venue's event calendar on the official website and other digital platforms
(g) To assist in the procurement of goods and services for the venue operation. To conduct market research for the procurement item and coordinate with the potential suppliers.
(h) To draft the specifications for the procurement process and facilitate the overall logistic operation for the items
(i) To compile data of hire of the Centre for the regular statistical returns and other ad hoc statistical requests
(j) To implement other ad-hoc/general administrative duties as required by senior officers.
Requirements:
1) Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
and lawfully employable in Hong Kong
2) Be a holder of Bachelor's degree or above from a university or equivalent
(prefer in Arts / Humanities / Cultural Studies / Communications / Social
Sciences / Tourism and Event Management or related fields)
3) Have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 5 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent
4) Have knowledge of facility booking procedure and related booking
arrangement in performance venues
5) Have at least two (2) years’ post-qualification full-time work experience in LCSD venues or cultural sector. Working experience in LCSD or CSTB management / supervisory / officer level or relevant rank
6) Have experience or knowledge on operating online venue management system or website content management system (WCMS)
7) Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing
Working Place: Kowloon Bay Cultural Centre Office
Working Hours: 09:30-18:30, Monday - Friday
Salary: $1500 per day
