Work location: EPD office in Wan chai/ Tseung Kwan O
Working hours: 44 hours per week, normally from 8:30 am to 5:18pm, including one hour lunch break, from Monday to Friday, except public holiday
Responsibilities:
1. Develop curriculum of the training courses for the B&R Sustainable Green Development Training Centre
2. Devise and implement publicity plan for launching of the training centre and respective training courses, symposium and other activities, and promotion of training course
3. Collaborate with local professional bodies to jointly deliver training courses, symposium and other activities
4. Organize training courses, including but not limited to arrangement of training venues, schedules and lecturers; and
5. Perform any other duties assigned as appropriate
Requirements:
1. A bachelor’s degree from University in Hong Kong, or equivalent, in science or engineering related discipline
2. A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent
3. Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) in a relevant discipline, elected after December 5, 1975, or Professional Membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP) or equivalent
4. Good oral and written skills in both Chinese and English, with Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education
Examination (HKDSE) or Grade C / Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
5. At least fifteen (15) years of working experience in education/training/public education services; including at least five (5) years of working experience at a senior professional grade in the Government or public service sector. Experience of training and staff development in the Government or the public service sector will be an advantage
6. At least three (3) years of working experience in organisation of government events
7. Good oral and communication skills in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
8. Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills
9. Be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
