Duties:
(1) To organize and execute education and public programmes
(2) To organize exhibitions held by the museum
(3) To monitor transmission training programmes
(4) To conduct research, field studies, provide information and assist in drafting and editing text on items of the Inventory and Representative List in Hong Kong.
(5) To provide any other services related to research, education, education and public programmes required by the museum
Qualification:
(1) Bachelor's Degree from a Hong Kong university, majoring in History, Chinese History, Anthropology or equivalent
(2) At least 3 years of relevant full-time working experience in museums, galleries. archives or cultural institutes. During which, at least one year proven experience in conducting research and writing articles on local culture or history is required, among which if encompassing museum is an advantage
(3) Level 3 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), or equivalent;
(4) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
(5) Good knowledge in using research tools, and computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Chinese character processing.
Contract Period:
1 November 2025 - 31 October 2026
Location: Tsuen Wan Museum
Service Time: 5 days work, 09:00-18:00 (Mon - Fri)
Salary: $28K - $30K
