Duties:
1. To assist in registration of the museum collections including stock-taking, compiling object lists and handover with Collection Management Unit in a timely manner
2. To assist in translating the captions of the collection and any other subjects as required by the Museum
3. To assist in editing exhibition, educational and publicity materials for the Museum
4. To assist in uploading items to public page of LSD Museums Collection
5. To conduct outside work when necessary
6. To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors
Requirement:
1. A bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Anthropology, Archaeology, History, Geology, Geography, Ethnography, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies, Humanities, or equivalent
2. Level 5 or above in Chinese Language and/or English Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE); or Grade C in Chinese Language and Culture / Chinese Language and/or Literature and English Language of the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE)
3. Have at least two (2) years' full-time working experience in exhibition and research field (e.g. museums / galleries / universities / academic institutes / cultural institutions / archives
4. Possessing good communication skills; showing strong initiative; being courteous; being able to work within a team and work independently
5. Possessing strong research and analytical skills
6. Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
7. Good knowledge in computer applications including Chinese character input and using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Working Location: Tsim Sha Tsui Museum
Working Hour: 09:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday
Salary: $1500/day
Contract Period: November 2025 - November 2026 (12 months)
