Job Duties:
1. To support the marketing and organisation of the Sha Tin Town Hall Fun Day and reopening/celebration events of the Tai Po Civic Centre.
2. To source new publicity channels and assist in the formulation and implementation of e-marketing campaigns for promotion of venue facilities and programmes.
3. To support the coordination and logistics works relating to the review of the Sha Tin Town Hall Open Stage Scheme, if required.
4. To implement and coordinate the Open Stage Scheme and/or the new scheme including recruitment of applicants, vetting of applications, arranging auditions and any other related administrative duties.
5. To liaise with performing groups on the performance schedule and technical requirements.
6. To act as duty manager during Open Stage and/or the new scheme performances on Saturdays, Sundays and/or Public Holidays.
7. To supervise the on-site operation including liaison with operational staff to facilitate the smooth operation of Open Stage and/or the new scheme performances.
8. To compile statistics and reports for the Open Stage Scheme and/or the new scheme and to draft replies for public/media enquiries.
9. To arrange and assist in guiding tours for the public art installations of the City Art Square.
10. To support the marketing and organisation of audience building programmes at Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre and North District Town Hall.
11. To be responsible for the input of monthly event calendars/ listing under the respective webpage of Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre and North District Town Hall.
12. To update and monitor the daily maintenance of the website of Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre and North District Town Hall.
13. To set up an archive for the posters, leaflets and photos of various programmes staged at Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre and North District Town Hall.
14. To assist Manager to carry out other assigned duties, as required.
Requirements:
1. Lawfully employable in Hong Kong.
2. University graduate (major in arts or cultural-related discipline is preferable) or equivalent with minimum two years full time work experience in the field of event management, marketing or arts and cultural services.
3. Previous work experience in the operation/co-ordination of outdoor performances, web development and digital marketing is preferable.
4. Good understanding on performing arts and marketing in arts field.
5. Good communication and written skills in both English and Chinese.
6. Strong analytical skill, self-motivated, detailed oriented and well-organised.
7. Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
8. Possess sound knowledge of MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.
Working Place: Sha Tin Town Hall, Tai Po Civic Centre and North District Town Hall
Working Hours: 7 October 2025 - 6 October 2026 (1-year contract), required to work at least 45 working hours per week, 9 hours including one hour paid meal break. Service would normally be required between 0900 to 2100 hours within Monday to Sunday. Service maybe required on Sundays and Public Holidays subject to operational needs.
Salary: $1,224 per day
