Duties:
i) To examine improvement works and defect lists related to building management of the government performance venue
(ii) To assist Senior Cultural Services Assistant in ensuring that all facilities and equipment at the performance venue are well-maintained and operate smoothly, as well as to oversee daily inspections and report any irregularities to managers
iii) To assist in planning and coordinating the work schedules of service contractors, including regular maintenance, building repairs at the venue, security services, cleansing and hygiene services, horticultural services, and maintenance of artwork installations
(iv) To assist in coordinating and overseeing the performance of service contractors, ensuring that work quality meets standards and complies with guidelines and policies;
(v) To assist in general administration, such as drafting duty rosters, staff deployment, preparing documents;
(vi) To assist Government Representatives to ensure proper maintenance of the performance venue and to liaise with other government departments and contractors in carrying out day-to-day and ad hoc maintenance and repair works
(vii) To perform other operational duties and to assist the public in using the facilities of the venue
(viii) To perform any other duties such as basic clerical work as assigned by Managers/Assistant Managers or any persons assigned by the Government Representative when required
Requirement:
(ii) Must attained Secondary 5 or above or equivalent
(iii) Must be able to speak fluent Cantonese and basic English
(iv) Acquired knowledge in typing and Chinese input method, application of MS Word and Excel
(v) Must be physically fit
(vi) Be willing to work at outdoors and on shifts, including weekends and public holidays
(vii) Must be mature with good interpersonal and communication skills
(viii) Must have work experience in full-time employment of a minimum of eight (8) years, preferably at least five (5) years in facility management or property management or relevant working experience in the facility at Leisure and Cultural Services Department / performing venues / cultural facilities
(ix) Holder of valid Green Card (Basic Safety Training Course (Construction Work) under Section 6BA(2) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance) is preferred. Candidate expecting to obtain the Green Card within two (2) weeks after service commencement may also be considered
Working Location: Kowloon Bay (Government Performance Venue)
Working Hour: 0730-1630 / 1400-2300 / 1430-2330, 9 hours per day (including payable meal break)
Working day: 5 days including Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays
Contract Period: 1 August 2025 - 31 July 2026
Salary: $1400/day
