Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced English instruction tailored to the academic demands of Associate Degree programs (e.g., academic writing and critical reading).
- Closely monitor and follow up on students' coursework, essays, and homework assignments.
- Provide comprehensive feedback on assignments to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with grading rubrics.
- Develop targeted strategies to help students elevate their performance from average to A-range grades.
- Conduct regular progress assessments and adjust teaching methods to overcome individual student bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related academic discipline.
- Fluency in English and the ability to speak Mandarin.
- Proven track record of helping tertiary or sub-degree students achieve top-tier grades (A- or above).
- Deep understanding of academic writing standards, citation styles (APA, MLA, etc.), and university-level grading criteria.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to student follow-up.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate ambitious young adults.
