We are seeking a highly accomplished and driven professional to join our food and beverage leadership team at our historic Wong Nai Chung Gap premises.
Position: Assistant Manager
About the Role
An exceptional leadership opportunity has arisen for a refined and proactive Assistant Manager to oversee high-volume, multi-outlet food and beverage operations. Reporting directly to the F&B Management team, you will play a pivotal role in driving daily floor performance, optimizing service standards, maintaining financial profitability, and mentoring a multi-cultural front-of-house team across our prestigious clubhouse venues.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Oversee daily front-of-house operations across multiple outlets, ensuring seamless service execution, effective floor logistics, and uncompromising commitment to high-end hospitality standards.
Team Management & Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor outlet captains, supervisors, and service staff. Foster a culture of excellence, clear communication, and consistent training across all operational shifts.
Guest Experience & Member Relations: Act as a prominent and engaging host on the dining floor, cultivating strong relationships with club members and guests while resolving guest feedback with utmost poise and professionalism.
Financial & Cost Control: Assist in driving revenue growth through effective upselling, beverage programming, labor control, inventory management, and floor cost optimization.
Administrative & Cross-Departmental Support: Manage staff scheduling, POS system administration, and stock replenishment while coordinating closely with the Culinary, Events, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily flow.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, or prestigious private membership clubs.
Language Proficiency: Native or fluent command of spoken and written English is essential. Good command of Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly preferred to communicate effectively with members and staff.
Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of Western fine dining service, wine and beverage operations, banquet/event logistics, and front-of-house administrative workflows.
Leadership Skills: Proven floor presence with strong problem-solving capabilities, high emotional intelligence, and the composure to manage high-volume meal periods smoothly.
Professional Grooming: Exemplary personal presentation and a dedication to maintaining top-tier service standards.
