Project Background
Our client is seeking an experienced System Analyst to support the implementation and governance of two major IT systems:
- Licensing Management Information System
- e-Form Submission System
The System Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager, client stakeholders, business users and external IT vendors to review system requirements, assess technical and functional documentation, support testing and implementation activities, and help ensure system deliverables meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The System Analyst will be responsible for:
- Support the Project Manager in system analysis, project implementation and vendor coordination activities.
- Review user requirements, functional specifications, system design documents, technical proposals and project deliverables submitted by external vendors.
- Analyse business workflows, system functions, data flow and integration requirements.
- Work with business users to clarify requirements and translate business needs into system requirements.
- Liaise with vendors, technical teams and stakeholders to resolve system design, implementation and operational issues.
- Support preparation, review and maintenance of system documentation.
- Assist in reviewing test plans, test cases, UAT documents and implementation plans.
- Support User Acceptance Testing, defect tracking, issue resolution and system rollout activities.
- Monitor vendor deliverables and provide comments / recommendations from a system analysis perspective.
- Assist in identifying project risks, technical issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Support system nursing, post-implementation support and project closure activities.
- Prepare meeting notes, analysis findings, issue logs and progress updates when required.
- Ensure system-related deliverables are complete, accurate and aligned with business and project requirements.
Mandatory / Core Requirements
Candidate should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 3 years of system analysis experience.
- Solid experience in IT system implementation projects.
- Experience in reviewing functional specifications, system design documents, testing documents and implementation deliverables.
- Good understanding of SDLC, requirements analysis, system design, testing, implementation and post-implementation support.
- Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Good stakeholder communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
