Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated IELTS Instructors to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. This role involves delivering high-quality, engaging in-person lessons to students preparing for the IELTS exam. The ideal candidate will possess strong teaching skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their language goals. Key Responsibilities
- In-Person Instruction: Conduct tailored, physical IELTS preparation classes based on individual student needs.
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans covering all IELTS modules: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
- Constructive Feedback: Provide detailed, actionable feedback on student performance, particularly for essay writing and speaking assessments.
- Adaptive Teaching: Monitor student engagement and dynamically adapt instruction strategies to maximize learning outcomes.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance metrics, and progress reports.
- Supportive Environment: Foster an encouraging, interactive learning environment that builds student confidence.
- Exam Currency: Stay updated on the latest IELTS exam trends, scoring rubrics, and pedagogical methodologies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- English Proficiency: Native-level English proficiency is required.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESL tutoring or teaching is mandatory; specialized IELTS teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Classroom Experience: Proven experience teaching in a physical classroom setting is required.
- Writing Expertise: Strong written English skills with a deep understanding of academic essay structure, data report analysis, and grammar.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex language concepts clearly and patiently.
