The Hong Kong Jockey Club
Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Sports Business Division is central to the Club’s overall aspiration to become a globally recognised sports and entertainment brand, with world-class horse racing at its core. The Division’s overarching focus is to deliver sustainable growth of the Club’s sports business, deepen customer engagement, and contribute to position the Club as a leading global sports and entertainment brand to enable its commitment to social betterment. Its strategy is delivered through three pillars: broadening the fan base and prospecting new customers, growing the sports wagering business, and building the Club’s brand and commercializing its assets.
The Department
The Betting Operations Control Centre (BOCC) of our Betting Operations and Systems is the main co-ordination and service centre for all business channels under the Sports Business Division. It provides 7x24 operations to maintain quality and efficient services and support to Retail, Telebet and Digital Services and acts as the central control point for all wagering products and activities.
The Job
You will
- Support the operations of the Betting Operations Control Centre (BOCC)
- Assist in internet surfing for updated football information and match results
- Assist in retrieving change of racing information and race results from overseas racing authorities or partners for simulcast meetings
- Perform operational and supportive administrative duties such as monitoring of football match status, compilation of reports and filing of documents
*Shift Hour
Day Shift | Mon - Sun: 07:30 – 18:00 |
Night Shift | Mon - Sun: 17:00 – 24:00 |
Overnight Shift | Mon - Sun: 23:00 – 31:45 (=next day 07:45) |
*Actual working hours would depend on operations need. Average 6-8 working hours per day and 2 days per week.

About You
You should have
- HKCEE/ DSE or above
- Good football knowledge and interest in football matches
- Basic knowledge in racing is preferable
- Computer knowledge of MS Word , Excel and familiar in internet surfing
Terms of Employment
Pay-rate$89.5 per hour
