Drum Composer
Responsibilities:
• Ensure musical engagement of students through motivating and well-planned lessons with a view to achieving musical development of students;
• Where necessary provide and/or provide guidance on appropriate instructional materials to support students’ learning;
• Ensure adherence to the student/parent/carer's code of conduct,’ during lessons, rehearsals, and performances;
• Communicate clearly with parents and carers regarding student progress taking on board parents’ feedback;
• To take part in and/or support the development/delivery of KG Group events;
• Lead and/or coordinate ensembles and their activities;
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students;
• To provide all required information to the administration team in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
• A Music Education Degree or A Music Performance Degree with no less than one-year professional teaching experience;
• Demonstrable skills as a proficient and competent practitioner on your instrument/voice;
• Committed to high quality music education and the education of all levels of musicians/participants
• A team player, able to motivate others, including colleagues and help them be the best they can be;
• Willingness to work on own initiative
