Job Duties:
(1) To supervise frontline staff of the exhibition halls
(2) To provide assistance to Museum visitors, including assist in operating exhibits and explaining scientific principles of exhibits in the Museum
(3) To assist in organising and running Museum programmes and volunteer services
(4) To perform demonstrations and guided tours for Museum visitors
(5) To handle Museum visitor's requests and enquires
(6) To perform administrative works regarding to Museum operation and any other duties as assigned by supervisors or other authorised government representatives
Qualification:
(1) Have attained a diploma or higher certificate from a Hong Kong university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/technical institute/technical college or equivalent, majoring in the areas of Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology, Hospitality, Education, or equivalent
(2) Have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in (HKDSEE) or Grade E in (HKCEE) or equivalent
(3) Possess a good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
(4) Have mature mentality and good interpersonal skills
(5) Have good knowledge in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
(6) Be able to work irregular hours including evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and General holidays
(7) Have at least one-year work experience (experience in customer service, venue management and a supervisory role is preferable)
Contract Period: March 2026 to February 2027
Working Location: Tsim Sha Tsui District Museum
Working Hour: 44 hours per week (9:00-21:30) 8.8 hours per day including one hour meal break
Monthly Salary: $18K - 19K
