Supervisor (Customer Services)

Cathay Cargo Terminal operates one of the world's most advanced air cargo terminals, offering world-class cargo handling services for Cathay Cargo and other international airline customers operating at Hong Kong International Airport.

As the Supervisor (Customer Services), you will supervise the day-to-day operations in accordance with the services standards and ensure safety and regulatory requirements are fulfilled.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To implement the agreed operations procedures per required service standards and in accordance with the regulatory requirements.
  • To follow up the operations irregularities and preclude recurrence.
  • Handle enquiries from shippers, consignees, and Government parties.
  • Act as interfaces between operations team with the direct customers, truckers or cargo agents to ensure feedbacks are instantly responded and achieve customer satisfactions.
  • To monitor the performance of staff and operations contractors to ensure the service standards are met and initiate suggestion for services improvement.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • F.5 with passes in English, Chinese Language and Mathematics or Holder of HKDSE or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in airlines, air cargo terminals, ground handling agents, logistics companies, warehouses, or freight forwarding companies, preferably with supervisory experience.
  • Hands-on experience in the air-cargo terminal operations would be an advantage.
  • Sound knowledge on air import, export, transshipment cargo and mail operations handling procedures.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Candidates with less experiences would be considered as Senior Cargo Services Officer.


Working Hours:

  • Average 5 days’ work week, 9 hours work per day including meal break.
  • Shift duties are required starting with 07:00 – 16:00/ 15:00 – 24:00/ 23:00 – 08:00 (Subject to operation needs).
