Cathay Cargo Terminal operates one of the world's most advanced air cargo terminals, offering world-class cargo handling services for Cathay Cargo and other international airline customers operating at Hong Kong International Airport.
As the Supervisor (Terminal Services), you will monitor staff and operations contractors to ensure the operations procedure and performance standard are fully compliance with customers and company’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cargo build-up, breakdown, acceptance, and release progress via the Warehouse Operating System (WOS).
- Lead teams to execute agreed operational procedures in compliance with service standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform accurate data entry and verification for import, export, and transshipment cargo information in WOS.
- Coordinate with airlines, contractors, Customs & Excise Department, and agent customers when necessary.
- Conduct on-site inspections during daily operations.
- Monitor the performance of subcontractors and service providers to ensure service standards are met.
- Follow up actions when the operations irregularities and preclude recurrence.
- Issue Fault Report for respective areas in a timely manner.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- F.5 with passes in English, Chinese Language and Mathematics or Holder of HKDSE or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in airlines, air cargo terminals, ground handling agents, logistics companies, warehouses, or freight forwarding companies, of which minimum 2 years in a supervisory level.
- Hands-on experience in the air-cargo terminal operations would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge on air cargo and mail operations handling procedures.
- Details oriented, a self-motivated team player and confident leader.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Candidates with less experiences would be considered as Senior Cargo Services Officer.
Working Hours:
- Average 5 days’ work week, 9 hours work per day including meal break.
- Shift duties are required starting with 07:00 – 16:00/ 15:00 – 24:00/ 23:00 – 08:00 (Subject to operation needs).
