About the Role
The AIA Carnival is Hong Kong’s most anticipated winter outdoor event, bringing together entertainment, culture, and community in a vibrant celebration. As a Social Media Manager/ Executive at the AIA Carnival, you’ll be part of the creative force behind Hong Kong’s largest outdoor event. Whether your focus is social media marketing or content production, you’ll gain hands-on experience in shaping the public face of the Carnival, from crafting compelling campaigns to capturing unforgettable moments on camera. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team of professionals and collaborators, contributing ideas, executing projects, and learning the ropes in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Key Responsibilities
-Strategize Social Media: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with our audience
-Generate Creative Ideas: Contribute to the creation of engaging and innovative content concepts that communicate strategic messages while maintaining brand consistency across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Red Note etc.)
-Execute Content Calendar: Ensure the social media calendar is implemented effectively, with timely and relevant postings that respond to trends and live event dynamics
-Create Content: Capture and develop lo-fi video, stills, and graphics in line with the social media calendar, using your creative skills to produce visually compelling, timely, and consistent content
-Coordinate Content Production: Collaborate with videographers, editors, photographers, and the in-house creative team or external production agencies to ensure seamless execution of high-production and lo-fi content
-Monitor & Optimize: Track analytics and insights to assess content performance, identify trends, and refine strategies to boost engagement and reach
-Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up with emerging social media practices, platform updates, and audience behaviour to maintain a competitive edge
-Align with Broader Campaigns: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social media efforts are integrated with larger marketing campaigns and organizational goals
Requirements & Skills
-Proven experience in social media management, copywriting, content creation, and digital strategy (portfolio or case studies preferred)
-6 years of experience for Manager position; 2 years of experience for Executive position
-Strong visual storytelling skills with hands-on experience in capturing and editing content
-Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar
-Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices and audience engagement tactics
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
-Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
-Fluency in Cantonese and English preferred
