Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage daily accounting tasks including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accounting systems.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of accounting records in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Manage all aspects of accounts receivable including invoicing, ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments.
- Oversee accounts payable processes such as verifying invoices and processing payments.
- Prepare comprehensive and timely monthly financial statement including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with auditors during the year-end statutory audit process by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and support to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
- Travel between companies to deliver documents for supervisor approval, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and regulations, with experience in maintaining compliant financial records.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for transaction recording, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in managing accounts receivable (invoicing and payment collection) and accounts payable (invoice verification and payment processing).
- Ability to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Experience collaborating with auditors, providing documentation, and supporting year-end statutory audits.
- Ability to travel efficiently between companies for document delivery, with strong time management skills to balance travel and accounting tasks within a part-time schedule.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with auditors and internal stakeholders.
