Responsibilities
• Assist in replying schools’ enquiries on teacher registration information and maintaining a database for related records.
• Handle the records management of the consent forms submitted by schools for enquiries on teacher registration information
• Check the payments and related statistics under the Course Fee Refund to Teachers Scheme
• Offer assistance to supervisors in records management such as stock-taking of files, establishing file records, maintaining the Electronic Recordkeeping System (ERKS) and archive, searching files etc.
• Provide clerical support to the Section, including answering general telephone enquiries, greeting visitors, arranging repair and maintenance for the office machines and equipment, delivering office documents to other government offices and premises.
• Provide clerical and logistics support in training workshops, meetings, recruitment boards and office events/activities organised by the Section, such as setting up of venue and AV equipment, preparing attendance sheet and meeting materials, distribution of handouts, photo-taking and perform reception duty etc.
• Perform other duties, including outdoor and manual work, as and when required by Section Head and other senior officers.
Requirements
• Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), including both Chinese Language and English Language
• Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), including both Chinese Language and English Language
• Proficient knowledge in computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Good knowledge of word processing in Chinese and English.
• Effective interpersonal and reception skills.
• Capability to perform outdoor duties as required
• At least 1 year of clerical or administrative working experience, preferably in the government,
