R&D Specialist (Product Development, R&D) Bakery Industry (6 Months Contract) 產品研發專員-烘焙業(R&D部) (6個月合約)
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer preferences in the bakery sector.
• understand customer expectations on to-be manufactured products.
• Develop and test new recipes for bread, cakes, cookies, and seasonal items.
• Refine existing products to enhance quality, flavor, and presentation.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the feasibility of new products.
• Prepare detailed documentation for all new product formulations, including ingredient specifications and production processes.
• Work with the marketing team to create compelling product descriptions and promotional materials.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance in all R&D activities.
• Assist in training production staff on new product techniques and processes.
• Participate in product tastings and sensory evaluations, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
-Diploma or above in product development or related discipline preferred
-Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (R&D/Product Development/related field)
-Related Food manufacturing industry work experience preferred
-Self-motivated, well organized and detail-minded
-Proactive, good interpersonal and communication skill
-Good command in English and Chinese
-PC skills in MS Word, Excel etc.
-Opportunity to convert to permanent role
