Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the R&D Manager on the development of the new Gold jewelry collections
- Source suppliers for finished products and components;
- Monitor quality and manage vendors to make sure supplies are in accordance to the requirements
- Selection of styles for new collection, visiting factories and attending exhibitions and fairs
- Ensure the Gold Jewelry materials meet the relevant statutory and/or users’ requirements and manage all matters relating to the material specification, standards, testing and validation
- Work with R&D Manager on New Product Development to match marketing requirements including quotations, samples and orders follow up
- Assist in the development of a suitable suppliers development strategy and roadmap
- Report to Jewelry Dept. Manager in Hong Kong
QUALIFICATIONS :
- F.7 or above
- With 3 years’ experience in Jewelry, development and purchasing
- Experience in diamonds, pearls, semi-precious stones is welcome
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
- Organized, systematic oriented and efficient, with a strong sense of responsibility and excellent team work spirit
- Ability to pay attention to details and caution to accuracy
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Familiar in using of MS Office
- Knowledge of SAP system will be considered as an advantage
- Travel to factories in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou is required
