The Department
Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.
The Job
You will:
- Deliver experiences and touchpoints for a unique customer journey.
- Engage with Members during Clubhouse operation hours.
- Administer Members’ reservation and registration related to sports courts usage and ancillary services.
- Administer check-in and check-out of Members using the changing room, sauna and steam suite and swimming pool.
- Arrange for issuance and collection of towels and locker keys for Members using the facilities.
- Arrange for on-the-spot cleaning to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the changing rooms, sauna and steam suite at all times; collect and send soiled towels for laundry, receive clean towels, fold and stack them in appropriate storage areas.
- Keep control of a reasonable stock of towels and other guest amenities, such as shampoo and liquid soap, for Members’ use by replenishing the supplies regularly.
- Ensure that lockers are checked for any belongings after Members have returned their locker keys.
- Ensure that all facilities in the changing rooms are properly maintained at all times and report all matters arisen that may reasonably affect the changing rooms’ users and normal operations, such as emergency break-down of Sauna, toilet flush system; handle lost items by following the established "Lost and Found" procedures.
- Help out at other Recreation outlets, such as Children's facilities, as and when assigned by senior.
- Help in verbal promotion of various programmes, facilities and services of the Clubhouse, and handle simple sales of sports items available at the reception area.
- Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by supervisor.
About You
You should have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the leisure or recreation or related fields.
- Good interpersonal skills with initiatives to interact with customers and staff.
- Good command of spoken both English and Chinese.
- Hands-on experience in MS Office applications.
