Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement. We're shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.
The Department
The Broadcasting Operations Department is responsible for the live coverage of horse racing in Hong Kong and the production of related promotional audio and documentaries for on-air at TV stations as well as PA sound system at different venues at the racecourses.
The Job
- provide audio support for sound production equipment being operated in the Club, such as set-up microphone, monitor amplifier, PA sound system and operation to ensure the quality of the programs meets broadcasting standard
- sound system signal test, announcer microphone and observe, monitor AV hub room condition to support various Club's functions
About You
- high Certificate in Audio & Visual production or other relevant experience
- sound knowledge in digital audio equipment such as microphone, mixer, amplifier and PA system
- experience in TV station and OB for sports event would be a distinct advantage
- able to work on public holidays and Wednesday racing nights
Payrate
Pay-rate: HK$90.5per hour
