We're looking for enthusiastic contract instructors to lead an exciting summer course for kids, blending hands-on FDM 3D printing, AI-powered design tools, and DIY assembly projects through collaborative teamwork.
What You'll Teach:
- Introduction to FDM 3D printing — how it works, setting up prints, troubleshooting
- Using simple AI generation tools to create and customise 3D-printable designs
- Guided DIY assembly projects that bring digital creations into the physical world
- Team-based challenges that encourage problem-solving and creativity
What we're Looking For:
- Prior hands-on experience with 3D printing (FDM essential; resin a bonus)
- Comfortable working with children and explaining technical concepts in an engaging way
- Experience as course instructor or other instructing roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of CAD software is a strong advantage (e.g., Tinkercad, Fusion 360, Blender, shapr3d)
- Familiarity with AI image/model generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Meshy) is a plus
- Reliable, patient, and able to work independently
- Fluent in English; additional language skills welcome
