Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder, majoring in Museum Studies, History, Anthropology, or related discipline (e.g. Cultural Studies, China Studies, etc.) (Degree offered by diploma mills, top-up degree and distance education degree are NOT accepted)
- HKDSE – Level 5 or above in English & Level 4 in Chinese OR
- HKAL – Grade C or above in English & Grade D in Chinese Language and Culture/ Chinese Language and Literature OR
- CRE – Level 2 in English and Level 1 in Chinese
- Beginner’s level of a language other than English and Chinese is an advantage
- At least 2 yrs full-time working experience in public museum or related institute with experience in handling museum artefacts
- Experience in conducting researches for exhibitions on culture/history subjects and museum artefacts is highly preferable
- Proficient in both written and spoken Chinese and English
- Good knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word-processing

Responsibilities:
- To assist in the work of the Museum Project, including conducting researches, preparing exhibition text and caption of exhibits as well as identifying suitable images, archives and video/audio materials for exhibitions
- To assist in background researches for museum collections and related work
- To assist in logistic arrangement related to the Museum Project
- To assist in general office duties
- To follow up with any general and/or ad-hoc office duties as assigned by the Museum Representative
