Position: Agency Water Dripping Nuisance Investigator
Client: FEHD – Hygiene Section of EHB, Yuen Long Environment Hygiene Office

Contract period: Your report duty day – Aug 2026 (for around 3 months)
Working Location: Yuen Long District Environment Hygiene Offices, FEHD and other working location required by the job
Salary: HK$20,482.00 per month
Working hours: 8:30 am to 6:30pm from Monday to Friday (including 1 hour unpaid meal break)

Job duties and responsibilities include:
- To handle and investigate water dripping from air-conditioner nuisance and to take follow-up actions to complaints;
- To prepare investigation reports and periodical/ad hoc returns, check the compliance of warnings or notices issued, and to prepare draft replies to complainant and related materials;
- To give witness statement in legal proceedings and to testify in court against plead-not-guilty cases
- To assist in special operations / campaigns to abate environmental hygiene problems and organizing health education campaigns;
- To assist Health Inspectorate grade officers as well as other designated staff / personnel to carry out other public health and environmental hygiene duties; and
- To perform any other duties related to environmental nuisances as assigned by senior officers.
[Note: Staff may be required to wear working outfits provided by the Department whilst on duty.]
Job Requirements:
- a) have (i) Higher Diploma from a local institution, or equivalent; OR (ii) a Certificate / Higher Certificate / Diploma in Engineering from a local institution, or equivalent;
- b) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent;
- c) be able to write and communicate in Chinese and English; and
- d) be able to perform outdoor work independently.
[Note: (1) 'Grade C' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3' in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.]

滲水滴水滋擾調查員（政府外判合約工作）

合約期： 2026年6月1日至2026年8月31日（3個月）
工作地點： 食物環境衞生署元朗區環境衞生辦事處及因工作需要安排之其他地點
月薪： 港幣20,482元
工作時間： 星期一至星期五上午8時30分至下午6時30分（每週45小時，包括1小時無薪用膳時間）
工作職責：
- 處理及調查冷氣機滴水滋擾投訴，並跟進相關個案；
- 撰寫調查報告及定期／特別報表，檢查警告信或通知書之遵行情況，並草擬回覆投訴人之文件及相關資料；
- 在法律程序中提供證人供詞及出庭作供（涉及不認罪案件時）；
- 協助進行特別行動或專項計劃，以改善環境衞生問題及推行健康教育活動；
- 協助衞生督察職系人員及其他指定人員執行公眾衞生及環境衞生相關工作；
- 執行上級指派與環境滋擾有關之其他職務。
註：受聘人於當值期間或須穿著由部門提供之制服。
入職要求：
- 持有本地院校頒發之高級文憑或同等學歷；
或持有本地院校頒發之工程證書／高級證書／文憑或同等學歷； - 在香港中學文憑考試（HKDSE）或香港中學會考（HKCEE）中，中英文科達第2級或以上，或具同等學歷；
- 具良好中英文書寫及溝通能力；
- 能獨立進行戶外工作。
備註：
2007年前香港中學會考（課程乙）中英文科C級，在行政上視為等同2007年或以後第3級。
