Requirements of the Candidates of Health Promotion and Registration Assistant :
(i) Obtain Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in
HKCEE/ HKDSEE, or equivalent; or qualifications with relevant work experience recognised by the Government Representative;
(ii) Preferably with one year full-time working experience in customer services;
(iii) Have good general computer knowledge;
(iv) Be able to speak English and fluent Cantonese; preferably be able to speak Putonghua; and
(v) Self-motivated and have good communication and interpersonal skills
Duties of the Health Promotion and Registration Assistant :
(i) To set up and tidy up the designated organ donation promotion booths in different assigned venues in different districts of Hong Kong;
(ii) To provide logistic and administrative support to the team such as move- in and move-out of the promotion booths in different assigned venues, liaise with the venues regarding the arrangement of booth etc.;
(iii) To transport publicity materials and equipment including but not limited to souvenirs, leaflets, props, easy-roll banners and sand bags to and from the promotion booths in different assigned venues and the Wan Chai/Tsuen Wan Office of HPB of DH;
(iv) To closely monitor the stock of publicity materials and equipment in the promotion booth. Be sure the publicity materials and equipment are used properly and report to the seniors when there is a need to refill the materials;
(v) To establish a good rapport with the staff in the designated venues and ensure the promotion booth is smoothly operated. Report timely to the seniors for any problems encounter;
(vi) To co-ordinate well with the volunteers from organ donation relatedorganisations (if any) in manning the promotion booth. Provide relevant operational guidance to the volunteers.
(vii) To be familiar with the health information about organ donation provided
by the DH including but not limited to what is organ donation and the way to register and convey the related health messages to the public;
(viii) To take an active role in promoting organ donation to the public clearly with good manners;
(ix) To invite and assist interested members of the public to register on the Centralised Organ Donation Register (CODR) by either filling in the paper or online form;
(x) To ensure the completed CODR registration forms are securely locked in the collection box and transfer the forms back to the Wan Chai Office of HPB or sometimes other DH premises in time of special conditions without missing; and
(xi) To handle the public’s applications for registration in and withdrawal from the CODR, including verification of the identity of the applicants, handling public enquiries/ complaints, compiling statistics and reports, filing of records, etc.
(xii) To carry out other clerical duties, outdoor duties or any other ad hoc duties related to organ donation or other projects/ campaigns/ events/ activities as assigned by the seniors.
