The Role
We are looking for a creative and empathetic Digital Content Intern to help bring the stories of
our community to life. You’ll be responsible for turning the authentic, everyday moments of our
caregivers and families into stories that resonate and build genuine connection. You’ll use our
equipment to capture high-quality footage right at their homes and neighborhoods.
What You’ll Do
- Production: Plan and film interviews with our caregivers and families. You’ll focus on capturing real emotion and message rather than the perfect studio lighting.
- Video Editing: Transform raw footage into engaging, long and short-form videos for our social channels and website.
- Copywriting: Craft compelling captions and post copy in both English and Cantonese
- Content Strategy: Contribute to the content calendar, identifying which stories have the most potential to highlight our mission.
What We’re Looking For
- Undergraduate student pursuing degree in Journalism, Creative Media, Film Production, Marketing, or a related field. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Storytellers who understand how to find the heart of a story and prioritize the message over special effects
- Proficient in editing software (e.g. iMovie, CapCut, Final Cut, etc.)
- Proficient in Cantonese and English to effectively interview and write copy
