Role Overview
This role is focused on corporate communications, brand storytelling, and content leadership at group level.
As Manager – Corporate Communications & Brand Content, you will lead how GEG presents itself across corporate channels, with responsibility for the company’s voice, messaging, written content, and brand positioning. You will develop and manage communications that strengthen GEG’s reputation, support business development, and ensure consistency across the group.
This is a role for a strong communicator and writer who is confident shaping narratives, developing polished corporate content, and managing communications from a brand stewardship perspective. The position is less focused on consumer or product campaign marketing, and more focused on corporate narrative, reputation, thought leadership, PR, and B2B communications.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Messaging
- Develop and deliver GEG’s corporate communications strategy across external channels.
- Own and evolve GEG’s corporate messaging, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business priorities.
- Maintain core brand and communications tools including messaging frameworks, company boilerplates, media materials, and brand language guidelines.
- Act as a guardian of GEG’s corporate identity, ensuring consistency in tone of voice, positioning, and presentation across all communications.
Content Development & Brand Storytelling
- Lead the planning, writing, editing, and management of corporate content across key touchpoints.
- Create high-quality written materials including company profiles, corporate presentations, case studies, executive communications, website copy, partner-facing materials, and brand narratives.
- Translate business priorities, milestones, and achievements into compelling content that supports reputation, visibility, and commercial credibility.
- Ensure all corporate content reflects GEG’s brand positioning and standards.
Public Relations & Media Communications
- Develop and manage GEG’s PR and external communications approach in partnership with agencies or internal teams.
- Write and oversee press releases, media materials, editorial content, and corporate announcements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant journalists, editors, and industry media.
- Identify opportunities to raise GEG’s profile through proactive media engagement and brand storytelling.
LinkedIn & Executive Thought Leadership
- Lead GEG’s LinkedIn content strategy and editorial calendar from a corporate brand perspective.
- Develop content that grows visibility, engagement, and credibility for GEG and its leadership team.
- Support executives with thought leadership content, profile-building opportunities, and written communications.
- Monitor channel performance and refine content based on insights and engagement trends.
Group Brand Alignment
- Partner with marketing leads across the group to ensure alignment of corporate messaging and brand positioning.
- Support the development of materials that present GEG’s collective strengths, capabilities, and achievements in a clear and consistent way.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen how the group story is communicated across subsidiaries and external audiences.
B2B Communications & Collateral
- Develop polished B2B communications materials including pitch decks, credentials, case studies, brochures, and sales support content.
- Ensure all B2B collateral is well-written, strategically positioned, and on-brand.
- Represent GEG at selected industry events and networking opportunities where appropriate.
Awards & Industry Recognition
- Manage the award submission calendar across the group.
- Research, write, and coordinate compelling submissions that articulate GEG’s innovation, impact, and achievements.
- Maximise the communications value of nominations and wins through PR and content amplification.
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years’ experience in corporate communications, brand communications, content, PR, or a closely related field.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce polished content for a range of corporate audiences.
- Strong experience developing and managing corporate messaging, brand narrative, and external communications.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a brand steward, ensuring consistency across written and visual communications.
- Experience in PR, media relations, and thought leadership content development.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a corporate communications and executive profiling platform.
- Experience creating B2B materials such as presentations, case studies, credentials, and corporate profiles.
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and business units in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in entertainment, media, live events, or related sectors is an advantage.
- Basic design sensibility or light design capability is a plus.
