Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Systems & Hardware Support Engineer to join our team. The role involves on-site deployment support at customer sites, system configuration, customer communication, and maintenance of our internally developed hardware devices. You will also support internal R&D teams with equipment setup and basic circuitry tasks.
Responsibilities
On-Site Deployment & Customer Support
Deploy and install self-service check-in systems at hotel sites.
Work directly with hotel IT teams to configure network settings, firewall rules, VLANs, and system architecture.
Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and adjustments to ensure smooth operation.
System Operations & Maintenance
Provide ongoing IT support for systems running on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android platforms.
Perform system monitoring, updates, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Assist with server setup, software configuration, and system integration.
Hardware Support
Install, configure, and test company hardware products, including:
oAndroid tablets
oAndroid mainboards
oNetworkconnected devices
oInternal modules and peripherals
Perform hardware inspections, wiring, and basic low-voltage circuit tasks.
Assist with hardware replacements, repairs, and performance verification.
R&D Support
Prepare internal testing equipment, tools, and circuit components for product development.
Assist engineering teams in assembling prototype hardware or testing fixtures.
Maintain documentation for hardware procedures and technical standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, field engineering, or hardware-related roles.
Familiar with Windows / Linux / macOS / Android operating systems.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, firewall rules).
Basic knowledge of lowvoltage electrical circuits, wiring, and hardware installation.
Hands-on experience with tablets, embedded boards, or hardware peripherals is a plus.
Strong problemsolving ability and communication skills, especially in customer-facing environments.
Ability to work on-site independently and handle field deployments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and WiFi equipment.
Familiarity with Android ADB tools or embedded systems.
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Shell, Python).
Experience in hospitality IT or kiosk systems is an advantage.
Ability to create 3D CAD drawings for hardware components, prototype design, or internal R&D fixtures.
