Responsibilities:
(i) To act as duty manager, monitoring the smooth running of daily operations and programmes, and handling complaints and emergency situations
(ii) To serve as subject officer for programmes of external hirers and Programme Team; communicating with various stakeholders, including but not limited to the Front of House and Stage Management Team, to ensure the smooth execution of events held at the venue
(iii) To conduct research on venue management and local and overseas performing arts scene, including but not limited to application of technology in visitor experience management
(iv) To assist the Manager in the procuring technological systems for the venue. including but not limited to digital displays, video walls, content management systems, etc.to liaise with potential services providers and goods suppliers
(v) To assist the Manager in developing plans for venue logistics, including but not limited to the grand opening, seating arrangements, signage, routes for persons with disabilities (PWD), and emergency drills
(vi) To assist in the study of Barrier Free Access (BFA) guidelines and prepare relevant documents for BFA facilities
(vii) To conduct research on operations of performing venues in Hong Kong and relevant policy; to assist in the devising of management guidelines and operation manual
(viii) To perform any other duties assigned by senior officers
Requirements:
(i) Be a permanent resident of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and lawfully employable in Hong Kong
(ii) Be a Holder of Bachelor's degree in Arts / Cultural Studies / Social Studies / Communications / Public Relations/ Hospitality or related fields or equivalent
(iii) Have good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
(iv) Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word processing
(v) Have at least 4 years' full-time post-qualification working experience in the field of performing arts / facility and venue management / entertainment business / project planning or related fields or equivalent
(vi) Have knowledge in understanding of seating plans, floor plans, building plans and electrical plans
Working Location: East Kowloon Cultural Centre / Work at outdoor may required
Working Hour: Monday to Friday 09:30 - 18:30
Salary: $1500/day
