Retail Operations Assistant

Job Highlights

Responsibilities

📣Marketing & Communications

- Assist in designing marketing collaterals: social media content, website visuals, posters, flyers, signages, product labels, etc.

- Implement and manage online and offline marketing campaigns

- Conduct data analysis to generate insights and optimize campaign performance

- Explore new marketing trends and platforms to enhance brand visibility

- Propose ideas for retail promotions and activities to strengthen customer engagement


📦 Purchasing & Supply Chain

- Source and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms

- Manage purchase orders, inventory levels, RMA processes, and stock allocation

- Coordinate shipments (local, PRC, international) via land, sea, and air freight

- Track order status and ensure timely delivery for retail and project needs

- Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials and packaging to reduce procurement risks

- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards


🛍️ Retail & Wholesale Support

- Provide administrative support to retail shops in Hong Kong

- Follow up on wholesale orders and liaise with clients

- Collaborate with internal teams on product launches and retail operations


📊 Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare procurement and marketing reports

- Analyze sales, stock, and campaign performance

- Share actionable insights with relevant teams for continuous improvement


🧾 General & Ad-hoc Duties

- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as assigned

- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives


Requirements

- Diploma or above in Business, Marketing, Design, or related disciplines

- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, purchasing, or retail operations

- Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including v-lookup, pivot table), PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing

- Familiar with design software (AI, Photoshop); knowledge of HTML/PHP is an advantage

- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English


🎁 Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $15,000 – $18,000 (depending on experience)

• 5-day work week

• Working hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Medical scheme

• 10 days annual leave

• Bank holidays
