Project background:
1. Overview: Our VIP client needs qualified native Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) translator to do Translation, Review and MTPE task
2. Language pair：English to Traditional Chinese.
3. Timeline: Expected to start in September this year, last for 3~6 months
4. Expertise: Tourism & Hospitality, UI&UX
Main responsibilities:
1. Responsible for English-to-Traditional Chinese ( HongKong ) translation, review, and machine post-translation editing of client’s website and application content (including user interface content, air and wine policies, hotel/city descriptions, SEO content, promotional pages, banner ads, etc.).
2. Localization testing of client’s Japanese online content to ensure it is accurate, authentic and error-free.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Native Hong Kong Traditional Chinese translator with excellent English and Simplified Chinese reading and writing skills
2. Over two years of experience in UI/UX-related English-to-Hong Kong Chinese translation, proofreading, and MTPE work. Experience in Simplified Chinese-to-Hong Kong Chinese translation is preferred (candidates with particularly relevant experience may be considered with one year of experience)
3. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit
4. Experience in the tourism industry is a plus
5. Time difference with Hong Kong should not exceed 2 hours; candidates with extensive experience may be considered with a time difference of up to 4 hours
6. 8 hours/day available capacity is requisite, from Mon- Fri.
