Museum Venue Helper (Hong Kong Museum of History)
‧To assist in the daily operations of the Museum.
‧To assist in venue setting and logistic support for museum activities, lectures, exhibitions, special programmes.
‧To execute necessary crowd control measures, including but not limited to directing visitors who queue up for admission, payment, submission of applications, interactive programmes, etc.
‧To assist in stock-taking items including but not limited to stock of Museum Passes, publications and souvenirs, and equipment of the Museum.
‧To assist in enforcing the requirement of body temperature check for all public upon their entry to museums.
‧To enforce the requirement set under Cap.559G and Cap.599I by patrolling at venues.
‧To provide operation duties and administrative supports where necessary.
‧To perform any other duties assigned by the Museum management.
‧Have completed Form 5 or above
‧At least 1 year full-time working experience, preferably in customer service/retail sales/venue operations field.
‧Be proficient in Cantonese and able to speak Putongthua and English.
‧Be physically capable of carrying, moving and transporting heavy objects.
‧Be detailed-oriented, self-motivated, pleasant personality
‧Having good interpersonal and communication skills.
‧Be able to be polite and presentable to visitors, and be proactive in providing service to vistors; and
‧Have good knowledge in computer applications (e.g. using Word and Excel)
‧Typing (Chinese and English)
Place of work: Hong Kong Museum of History
Contract Period: 1-10-2021 to 30-9-2022 (12-months)
Service Hours: The service is normally required on any five days on Mondays to Sundays from 9:00-18:00 (9 hours work)
Salary: $65 per hour (Including 1-hour meal break)
